Working meeting of the Advanced Core Technologies Initiative Optimizing Computing Infrastructures Working Group. ACTI-OCI will report on its latest projects and discuss upcoming work. The group, which focuses on the consolidation of IT infrastructure on campuses for both research and administrative computing, is in the process of developing a tool that will help campuses plan for optimization projects. This is an excellent forum to share insights and exchange ideas regarding the core technologies, challenges, and opportunities posed by specific issues inherent in consolidation on campus.
