How do you enable learners to construct understanding and knowledge through self-paced and peer learning? How do you stimulate learners with engaging activities? We'll explore the pedagogical applications of mobile devices like the iPad, introduce the best learning apps for classroom, blended, and online learning, and develop strategies for mobile learning. Studies have demonstrated that mobile learning increases motivation, collaboration, and communication. Mobile learning allows formal and informal learning from anywhere at any time. Many learning apps are available to facilitate student-centered learning activities (reading, writing, multimedia, communication and production, note-taking, concept mapping, digital storytelling, podcasting, learning management, peer-learning, and collaboration). You'll be able to develop a personalized mobile teaching tool box and instructional strategies using the project-based learning template for your own teaching.
