About the Award

The highest individual recognition offered by EDUCAUSE comes in the form of the EDUCAUSE Leadership Award, which acknowledges and celebrates leadership within and of higher education information technology. Through this award program, EDUCAUSE seeks to recognize prominent professionals—the “Summa Cum Laudes” in our field—whose work has had significant positive impact on advancing the theory and practice of information technology in higher education.
