zombielogic's blogNew Children's Book The Toughskin Rhinoceros Wrangler Company Now AvailableCreated by Thomas L. Vaultonburg (Zombie Logic Press) on May 21, 2012
If you know a child who might enjoy a good story and dancing rhinoceroses, The Toughskin Rhinoceros Wrangler might be for you. TTRWC is the story of Rhino Jack, a small boiwith the very extraordinary ability to make rhinoceroses dance. When all the rhinos escape from the local zoo, Jack is called in to get them to return. You'll never believe how he does it...
(he makes them dance) The Toughskin Rhinoceros Wrangler Company is written by poet Thomas L. Vaultonburg and illustrated by artist Jenny Mathews of Tiny Drawings. It is appropriate for children ages two years and up. It can be ordered here http://rhinowrangler.wordpress.com/ This content has been flagged for reviewCreated by Thomas L. Zombie Logic Press: Poetry By Thomas L. VaultonburgCreated by Thomas L. Vaultonburg (Zombie Logic Press) on September 7, 2010
I started writing poetry when I was a teenager and my first book, Concave Buddha, was written and published when I was still a teenager. Two decades later I still write poetry. I've had about the same amount of success as any poet, which is to say virtually none. Poetry is just a labor of love to me. Occasionally I sell a few books and buy lunch. But lately I've been writing poems for children. Not silly poems about strange noises and bodily fluids for readers I imagine to be stupid, but real poem. Real poems that just happen to be for kids. I don't see any reason to talk down to children. It's been a fun experience and I'm actually learning a lot about poetry myself. I hope to eventually publish something under my own Zombie Logic Press.
