New Thai government axes One Laptop Per Child

The incoming Thai government has axed, among other things, their participation in One Laptop Per Child project, to focus on the basics: reading, writing and arithmetic.

This is unlikely to be the end for the project, since Thailand is only one of several countries they're planning to roll out in.
