August 6, 2009: Department of Education Releases NPRM Pertaining to Parts of the HEOA (Including Distance Ed Verification)

In today's Federal Register, the U.S. Department of Education has released a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) related to sections of the Higher Education Opportunity Act. The section related to rulemaking on distance education verification may be of particular interest to the EDUCAUSE community. The Department will be seeking public comments on this NPRM until September 8, 2009.
