alanl's blogEDUCAUSE Immersive Learning Focus Session: Second Life AudienceCreated by Alan Levine (The New Media Consortium (NMC)) on March 28, 2007
During the Immersive Learning Environments Focus Sessions, we provided access to remote participants in Second Life on the NMC Campus. This was achieved via an audio input from the house sound that was then streamed to our sim. We were also able to capture the audio as podcast content. Look for more information:
Thanks to Joe Clark for helping communicate with the remote audience and blogging for us. Had we planned on this earlier, we would have been able to provide more connections between real and virtual audiences, things we have been experimenting with this past year at NMC. I also have a series of regular photos posted in flickr |
