SOPA-PIPA-OPEN: Where are we now?

Thank you for reporting on this but in all honesty this bill is too unpredictable. Even if the dns was filtered there are other ways of bypassing it.

Darknets and the like will only make for an environment conducieve to crime. I for one do not want my daughter to grow up in such a world. Sigh. More power to you all.

Tina, you are correct, there will always be ways around it as everything will still be accessible by ip, but the issue is much bigger than just "dns filtering".

regardless, all in all this is just terrible....SOPA is the equivalent of curing a headache with a guillotine. It may stop piracy, but it would shut down our economy and unconstitutionally erode our most basic freedoms in the process.

I just hope that everyone realizes how important this is and does their part to save the internet & our economy! ...here is another good video that explains the consequences of SOPA pretty well:
