This podcast features our full thirty-minute interview with Michael Wesch, assistant professor of cultural anthropology at Kansas State University. In the past few years he has distinguished himself with unique perspectives on teaching and his use of multimedia in the classroom. In 2008 he was awarded the CASE/Carnegie U.S. Professor of the Year Award for Doctoral and Research Universities. In this interview, Wesch talks about fame and micro-celebrity, teaching in the cloud, collective intelligence, and teaching in an age of budget cuts.
