This twenty-five minute podcast features an interview with Mike Sharkey, Director of Instructional Technology at the University of Phoenix. The interview was conducted by John Bucher, Chief Technology Officer at Oberlin College, at the EDUCAUSE 2008 Annual Conference. The University of Phoenix, the largest private and for-profit university in North America, serves more than 345,300 students with both campus locations and online degree programs. Their curriculum covers fields such as business and management, communications, criminal justice and security, education, general studies, nursing and health care, human services, psychology, and technology. This interview will give some insights into the University of Phoenix LMS strategy, as well as their approach to using technology in teaching and learning.
