Podcast: Community Dialogue - Best Practices, Emerging Trends, and Views of the Future

This fifty-six minute podcast features the closing keynote panel from the EDUCAUSE 2009 Southeast Regional Conference. The keynote panel is entitled, "Community Dialogue: Best Practices, Emerging Trends, and Views of the Future," and participants include:

  • Barbara Draude, Assistant Vice President for Academic and Instructional Technologies at Middle Tennessee State University
  • William F. Hogue, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at the University of South Carolina
  • Kathryn F. Gates, Chief Information Officer at the University of Mississippi
  • Session moderator: Thomas L. Maier, Vice Chancellor for Information and Instructional Technology and CIO for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia

The closing session from the 2009 Southeast Regional Conference brings together three panelists, who each focus on a track topic area. They summarize key takeaways from the sessions presented throughout the conference and what these mean for our profession and the community. They also bring out what is emerging and what has become best or commonly accepted practice.
