Initiate Academic Change Through the Learning Technology Leadership Program

The EDUCAUSE Institute's Learning Technology Leadership program, June 25–29, in Atlanta, prepares learning technology professionals to take the next level of leadership on their campuses.

This EDUCAUSE Institute program is for professionals whose campus role involves the support and promotion of teaching and learning. Participants will develop leadership skills and abilities that will serve them both in current and future campus roles. Here are a few comments from 2011 participants:

The program is designed to broaden perspectives and develop leadership abilities—enabling you to assume leadership roles to advance the effective use of technology to support teaching and learning in higher education.

Defining leadership roles that learning technologists can play on today's campuses
Developing effective ways to plan for and initiate change within your institution
Communicating with and developing collaborations among campus constituencies

Trickle-down Effect of Learning Technology Leadership Program

With the initiative of academic change through learning technology leadership program should we expect, as a trickle-down effect, that today’s students will perform better in these postmodern institutions?

Today's college students, in my opinion, will perform considerably better in postmodern institutions. We are now in an era where college students embrace and gladly welcome an education that reflects the changes in new and emerging technology. Institutions have an obligation to provide learning enviroments that are indicative of those changes.
