"The Future of Scholarly Communication: Building the Infrastructure for Cyberscholarship." There are many, many other good sources of information in the literature, but this should be a good start for those who are new to the topic. - Abstract: In this session, presenters from two research-extensive universities will advocate a role for librarians in addressing the impending "data deluge" and the emerging need of researchers for help in describing, preserving, and providing access to their data. Activities taking place on their campuses to meet these needs will also be discussed.
