Tips from Purdue & Cal Poly Pomona: Promoting the 2009 Computer Security Awareness Student Poster & Video ContestCreated by Valerie M. Vogel (EDUCAUSE) on November 19, 2008
The largest group of victims of identity theft is between the ages of 18 and 29. Students need to understand the risks and how to protect their personal information, computer, and campus networks. During an EDUCAUSE 2008 presentation, "Computer Security Student Video", student winners, faculty, and judges discussed how others can use the resources of the Computer Security Awareness Video Contest to raise awareness on your campus and get students involved in the 2009 competition. Reminder: You can view the 2007 winning videos, as well as the 2006 winning videos, and use these in awareness campaigns on your campus. [Terms of Use: The authors/creators of the winning videos retain copyright to their productions. Permission is granted for educational, noncommercial uses of these files, provided that each is identified as being a winning entry in the Security Awareness Video Contest sponsored by the EDUCAUSE/Internet2 Computer and Network Security Task Force and the National Cyber Security Alliance.]
