Fair Use School: Response to YouTube’s Copyright School

Public Knowledge recently announced the winner of its “Copyright School” video challenge.  The goal of the contest was to produce a balanced educational video in response to YouTube’s “Copyright School.”  Patrick McKay, a law student at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, produced the winning entry.   The video “explains the basics of fair use and encourages creators to exercise their rights by reusing, remixing and recontextualizing existing content in their videos.”
