Game Changers in Education: A New, Free E-Book
Game Changers in Education: A New, Free E-Book
Announcing the release of Game Changers: Education and Information Technologies, edited by EDUCAUSE President and CEO Diana Oblinger.
The chapters and case studies in this new book were contributed by college and university presidents, provosts, and faculty as well as other stakeholders. The book highlights important higher education issues and explores ways to reach more learners, more effectively, and with greater impact.
Approaches examined in the book include serving nontraditional learners through nontraditional design, delivering deeper learning by leveraging learning sciences and technology, and accelerating student progress through guided course selection.
"This book helps those in higher education explore important questions through ideas that we might incorporate as we prepare for the next generations of students. The contributors to this book offer a range of models and a wealth of examples to help us think outside our comfort zone. These models can serve as a starting point for exploring game changers that will strengthen the learning experience for students and the institutions of higher education that serve them, ultimately enriching our society." —Molly Corbett Broad, President, American Council on Education
Find out who is changing the game and what we can learn from their different approaches in Game Changers. The free e-book includes 17 chapters and 21 case studies. You can download the entire book or individual sections.
EDUCAUSE, with the generous support of Ellucian, has published Game Changers to catalyze discussions about the future of higher education.
