Anita de Waard is Vice President for Research Data Collaborations at Elsevier. In 2011 she joined with researchers, publishers, and digital scholars in various fields to create Force 11, a community contemplating and creating for the future of research communications and e-scholarship. In this interview she shares her thoughts on the current state of digital publishing and the formation of Force 11.
