E10 Session Podcast: The Science of Education: Creating a Compelling Learning Experience
E10 Session Podcast: The Science of Education: Creating a Compelling Learning Experience
The next innovation in higher education is a cloud-based EaaS (education as a service) platform, a learning platform that learns. The best principles have been operationalized and, by using an empirical, data-driven approach to measuring the effectiveness and building predictive models that describe correlation and causal relationships between learner characteristics and outcomes, we can now focus on how our students learn, in addition to what they learn. In this talk, we peek under the hood to see the core tenets of the platform and how they translate into product experiences. This session is presented by Adam Honea, Provost at the University of Phoenix, and Angie McQuaig, Director of Data Innovation at Apollo Group, Inc.
