Session Podcast: Business Continuity — Practical Planning

This panel features three IT professionals with experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Natural disasters, changes to our computing environments (building new data centers), and evolving global challenges (pandemic threats) require us to ensure that our processes are in order and ready to be enacted quickly. This panel discusses practical considerations for business continuity and disaster recovery planning, from drafting a plan and documenting critical steps to updating an existing plan to testing and executing the plan.

The panel includes:

  • Matthew Dalton, Director of Information Security at Ohio University
  • Kim Milford, Special Projects Assistant at Indiana University
  • Frank O'Quinn, Deputy Policy and IT Disaster Recovery Officer at Louisiana State University
