Main Nav

Each webinar is delivered live using online audio and video/image presentation technology, allowing you to interact directly with the host and guests through your web browser.

Because enrollment in each live webinar is limited, register early. If a webinar you’re interested in is either filled or scheduled for an inconvenient time, you can access the webinar afterward in the EDUCAUSE Live! archives, where you'll find recordings of all past webinars.

How It Works

How do I register?

You must register for each webinar individually and only after registration is open for the particular webinar. Spaces for each webinar are limited, so you should register as soon as you can commit to the scheduled time.

How does an EDUCAUSE Live! webinar work?

With webinar-specific variations, the host and guest will discuss the topic and respond to questions submitted by webinar participants through Adobe Connect. The format generally involves the guest doing an initial presentation using slides, online resources, resources shared from their desktop, and/or feedback from participant polls, and then engage in dialogue with the host and online participants.

What are the technical requirements?

In order to participate, you will need:

  • A high-speed wired Internet connection (use of wireless and/or dial-up may result in poor performance).
  • A landline, or a conference phone if you are participating as a team, as an audio alternative or backup.
  • Adobe Connect; please run this connection test. If you have problems completing the test or installing required software, please visit the Adobe Support website, or call Adobe Connect Technical Support at 1-800-945-9120.

Please review the Technical Requirements page for additional operating system, browser, and software requirements.

If you have audio or video issues during the event, see our Adobe Connect Frequently Asked Questions page. If you need further assistance, please contact EDUCAUSE Help in the EDUCAUSE Live! room.

Who leads the webinar?

Each EDUCAUSE Live! webinar is hosted by Diana G. Oblinger, president and CEO, EDUCAUSE, and Marc I. Hoit, vice chancellor for information technology, CIO, and professor of civil, construction, and environmental engineering, North Carolina State University, and will feature one or more guests who are leaders in the profession with expertise in the topic at hand.

Want to attend on the go?
