The 2006 Emerging Internet Threat List describes five online preparedness practices that, when implemented, could help consumers avoid becoming Internet crime victims in 2006.

Six videos have been selected winners of a student video contest held by the EDUCAUSE/Internet2 Computer and Network Security Task Force and the National Cyber Security Alliance. Eighteen videos received Honorable Mention. Created by students for students, the videos draw attention to common computer and network security pitfalls such as phishing and data loss. The videos are available in various formats for viewing and downloading.
