Have you wondered what your peers are doing with regard to SOA strategy, products, or standards? We'd like to find out. Your colleagues in the ITANA SOA Working Group ask for your participation in a short survey about the state of SOA at your institution.

We expect this short survey to take 10-15 minutes to complete. Multiple responses from the same institution are ok. Please feel free to skip any question you don't wish to answer or don't have time for.

The survey is located at the following link:

An analysis of the survey results will be shared on the ITANA mailing list, at the ITANA Face2Face meeting at Educause 2012, and through the ITANA web site.

Thank you!

Hi all, UC Berkeley is in the early stages of using TOGAF to establish (or shall we say 'encourage') an enterprise-wide SOA. We've identified a student administration project to use as a proof-of-concept for the methodology, and would like to have a consultant guide us through the process to see how it fits for us and how we might adjust it to fill our on-going needs. We're also looking for help in placing the enterprise architecture role in our organization and establishing meaningful governance structures. Have you worked with anyone you'd recommend? We're especially interested in consultants with higher ed experience due to the special needs we present. Thanks for your time! Hi Rusell

I asked colleagues in The Open Group - someone will get back to you and see if they can help find university-friendly from among the TOGAF-licensed community.
