Hello,

I’m looking for a picture of a business architecture that represents a university.

Can anyone refer me to one?

Best Regards,

Mojgan

Hi Mojgan,

At UBC we have some diagrams that cover the student domain: recruitment, admissions, awards, registration, progression and graduation.  But we do not have anything that covers the whole domain:

1.       HR/Payroll

2.       Finance

3.       Research

4.       Student

5.       Alumni (development)

6.       Facilities management (including GIS)

7.       Software infrastructure (identity, communications, databases, networks)

8.       Hardware infrastructure (storage, cycles, wireless)

Assuming that this is what you are looking for?

If nothing turns up, I’d be happy to spend a couple of hours with you and anyone else who is interested in putting together  a “picture on a page” on the ITANA wiki.

Leo

This isn't a business architecture, but its part...

http://cio.utah.edu/plu/  presents the process landscape of the University of Utah, we are in the process of linking a Data Landscape to this, then the applications...

Leo,
What you have would be great to start with.  Would be a good reference on the ITANA site.

I can circle back with you on this to see how I can help out.

If anyone else has anything available, please let us know.

Best Regards,

Mojgan
