Good afternoon. I'm not a regular contributor to this list, but. I appreciate reading the perspectives shared here. That said, I would like to remind you that Monday is the deadline for the call for proposals for EDUCAUSE 2014. EDUCAUSE 2014 will be from September 29 - October 2. We tailored the Enterprise/Administrative IT track especially for ITANA: "A robust enterprise architecture determines an IT organization's ability to respond to strategic innovations with agility. Enterprise architecture is most relevant to those who are involved with designing, implementing, maintaining, integrating, and supporting enterprise solutions, which includes secure, scalable, physical and virtual infrastructure and enterprise systems." The EDUCAUSE annual conference is always rich with excellent content delivered by higher education colleagues like you. Please consider being part of the conversation this year in Orlando! Thanks, Fred -- ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Constituent Group discussion list can be found at

Hi Everyone,

A quick reminder that both EDUCAUSE 2014 Conference and Pre-Conference Seminar proposals are due on Jan 13. If you could send a quick message to your groups to encourage folks to submit it would be great! This is also the time, if you would like, to submit a pre-conference proposal to have a CG organized and oriented pre-conference seminar similar to what ITANA and the Project Management CG have done previously. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!

Please consider the environment when considering printing emails.  I mean, I’m flattered that you would think this is worthy of printing and pasting into your scrap book.  But wait, you weren’t going to do that, were you?  You were going to print (probably single sided, multiple pages) this and make a note or two and then put it on your desk.  It would get lost with the other unnecessary printouts you’ve made and eventually it would be tossed in the trash when you clean up your office!  First of all – toss it in the recycle bin not the trash!  Better yet, don’t print it!  I appreciate the compliment, but nothing in this email is worth the paper or ink – really.  DON’T PRINT THIS!  Call me instead, and we can chat.  Thanks.
