I would be interested in considering accessibility strategies related to the mobile web. What are considered general good practices? What work have others done in this regard? Thanks for considering, Robert Robert Squires Director of Instructional Design and Technical Support UMOnline School of Extended & Lifelong Learning The University of Montana, Missoula 59812 O: 406.243.6056 M: 406.240.3837

All our computer labs for students are going to a Virtual desktop infrastructure. What is the repercussions from an accessibility standpoint?

Unfortunately I have a student meeting tomorrow at 1:00, but I would like to submit my discussion item for a possible future meeting. I have been asked to lead an IT Accessibility Audit for our campus (small community college). Has a process for doing an audit been published and/or tested at other colleges? There are checklists available from DO-IT, Practice Indicators available from NCDAE, Quality Indicators from NE DBTAC, but I am curious about others experiences with these or other audit processes. I'll miss tomorrow's call - we have currently reviewing for a new Faculty/Staff Email solution and I am in meetings most all day for this.  Has anyone else looked at replacing the currently email system with either Microsoft 365, Google (I know they are "working" on accessibility) or VMWare Zimbra?  We have already done this with our students for a free email solution.  Now we are looking to do the same for our faculty.  I'd be interested to hear if anyone has looked at these products for faculty/staff.

Happy holidays and I hope to catch up next meeting.

Thanks,
