A/V Control Accessibility
I'm kicking off a project to improve accessibility of our A/V control systems, especially touch panel interfaces.
Any resources or lessons learned from your own experience would be appreciated.

Accessibility issues in our online courses is one of my focuses for this year, and would like to get some thoughts on this from the group. I know that there is a push to use web 2 tools, but so many of them do not meet accessibility standards. And, many instructors, use readily available youtube videos that do not have captions. As you may know, students do not have to self-identify, and the fed regulations recently published an FAQ that has some pretty strict guidelines. So, I'm wondering: is your schools insuring accessibility in your online courses, and to what degree? Which web tools do you find most accessible and "fun" for students? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts, and learning about some tools our designers may not be familiar with.
Thanks,
Ellen
