FW: Comment on FCC Tentative Findings about the Accessibility of Communications Technologies
Hi, All – Per the email below, the FCC is seeking public comment on its tentative findings regarding the accessibility of communications technologies, which in this context includes VoIP and videoconferencing as well as mobile devices.
The comment notice, which includes the tentative findings the FCC will ultimately finalize in a report to Congress, is a relatively quick read. Even though the full doc. stands at 22 pages, big chunks are book-keeping items you can skip (e.g., reports on complaints received and resolved). If you think you might have campus experiences to share, it’s probably worth a quick scan of the doc. to confirm that. The comment deadline is Sept. 6. - Jarret
