Hi All, I'm sorry for the late reminder on this, but the holidays got the better of me. We will be having our monthly teleconference tomorrow, on Wednesday, December 4 at 1:00PM EST. The connection information is as follows. Dial: 1.877.944.2300 with code 99228# We gave our Webinar on "Accessibility for CIOs and Campus Leaders: Strategies and Solutions" that was very well received. If any of the participants from that Webinar have recently joined us, welcome! Agenda Both at last month's teleconference and at the Annual Conference we had lots of ideas shared about what issues to work on as a CG. Two of the major themes that emerged were 1. creating a central repository for learning more about accessibility 2. solving the procurement problem While we won't solve either in 60 minutes, I'd like to propose the following for tomorrow's meeting - it's called One Great Thing. If there is One Great Thing you could tell people about something you do with accessibility on your campus that you feel would benefit others, would you share it with us? Lots of us have a lot of really great things going on, but we need to share those ideas more. This is not a formal presentation, but rather just talking for 5 minutes about what you do and how it's helped you. We can then gather up all of the ideas and share them back out with the list and post them on our wiki. If you have URLs which provide additional resources, we can include those too. Maybe it's an innovative program you run, a resource you've developed, or a creative answer to a hard problem. Again, these are not meant to be highly polished, formal presentations. This is just an opportunity to share with others and learn from each other. Thanks. Greetings, I was on the telephone conference today. We are in the 2nd year of a multi-year plan to increase accessibility on campus. One thing we are trying to put forward is an acquisition policy. James Farr Utica College 315 223 2386
