Hi all –

As you fill out your itineraries for the upcoming Educause conference in Anaheim, please plan on joining us for our

discussion group session on Wednesday, October 16th at 2:30pm in Meeting Room 210A/B. Our list is fairly quiet, but the group sessions are always well attended and interesting.

The format will be a simple, informal group discussion on whatever topics you bring to the table. Past discussion has revolved around what services are offered in your institutional portal, what product you are using, and governance related to portal content.

A topic I would love to discuss is picking up an earlier list thread of the gradual decline in enterprise integrations with portals as vendor products have (sort of) increased their self-service capabilities.

Hello, all. I wanted to send a reminder to anyone attending EDUCAUSE later this month that we will be holding the Decision Support/Data Warehouse constituent group meeting on Friday, October 18 at 9:10 am in room 207A. I also wanted to make sure that everyone knew that the 2014 HEDW Conference will be held in Philadelphia from April 27-30 and is being hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. The call for proposals will be available before you know it.

Hoping everyone is enjoying the new academic year. See you soon.

Best regards,
