I am so jealous of that attire and it’s so exciting to see one of our own at the very top. And in Hawaii to boot! Congrats to David!

Indeed, worthy to note, and many congratulations!    And a voice for technology at the presidential level is a plus for the entire community.

Theresa

I saw this on Social Media this morning…this is outstanding.  I wish David success in his new role as it bodes well for the rest of us.

Thanks to you all for the kind words on and off the list!

I wasn't gunning for this - I like my current job quite well.   But for those of you who are, here's the quote in the article from the Executive Director of our faculty union that you may take heart in and learn from: "He has a notion of the entire University because the IT Department covers every place from the libraries to the community colleges to Manoa.  He's been here for a long time. He's one of us."

And yes, those pictures capture me in Hawaii business attire.  Even for Presidents here:-)

aloha, david
