Greetings All,

With October being Cyber Security Awareness month I’m curious as to what others are doing along the lines of “CyberSecurity” Insurance.   Has anyone invested in this?

Regards,

Rick.

Clark University purchased “Security and Privacy Liability” Insurance from Beazley Insurance Company in 2011.  The policy covers things like privacy breach response services, legal and forensic expenses, identity theft resolution services, credit monitoring, etc. in the event we have an incident.  Need to watch for deductibles and limits.

If you want to discuss further offline, I can be reached at the email address below.

We have had a Cyber Security and Risk rider to our overall insurance coverage for the last three years. It covers privacy breach responses, legal and forensic services, identity theft resolution services including credit monitoring for one year to all three services. I need to complete a rather lengthy discovery document each year to secure the policy. Tom Thomas H.
