Our VP of Alumni Development is considering hiring a consultant to analyze prospect data to do predictive analysis to help more efficiently target donors. Have any of you hired out this kind of work? If so, can you tell me who you used and whether you liked them. If it makes a difference we use Banner’s alumni system.

If people would like to reply to me off-list I will consolidate the responses and send out a summary in a week or so.

Our Development Office recently contracted out to have a "wealth screening analysis" done on our major donor base as we contemplate a comprehensive campaign in the near future.  This focuses on the giving potential of current donors while your group may be looking at new donors so I'm not 100% sure this is what you are looking for but it sounds pretty close.  If this is your desired direction then please contact me off-list and I will provide you more information from our Development Office.
