Mark,
We use Exchange 2010 and used to limit faculty and staff, but it was a waste of our time. As soon as they got near their limit, they’d call and we were forced to increase the limit. L So, today, we have no limits. The largest e-mail box is roughly 3 GB (try getting Microsoft to support that one!)
We do not charge back for storage. Not entirely sure I want to. I’d much prefer to migrate to an outsourced solution, which is on out calendar to seriously look into. Then whatever the outsourced limits are – they are stuck with them.
