FW: T&C's Contract Language
Hi Stacy,
A couple of sources for potentially useful sample contract clauses are below.
The Educause Cloud Computing Contracts Wiki at:
http://www.educause.edu/wiki/Cloud+Computing+Contracts
and
The Internet2 Information Security Guide:
https://wiki.internet2.edu/confluence/display/itsg2/Data+Protection+Contractual+Language
Scroll down to the “Themes” sections for links to sample clauses on specific related topics.
Hope these help!
Tom

Subject: T&C's Contract Language
All,
I am reviewing Terms & Conditions of a contract for services with a local vendor. It appears well written and seem to absolve them of any responsibility at all for their work.
My specific question is if anyone has specific contract language that their institution inserts into service contracts to increase the responsibility of a vendor if they create a circumstance through their actions that sets up the institution for a data breach or other type of intrusion?
Many thanks in advance,
Stacy
