I am proud to announce the publication of a new ACTI briefing note on Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). This paper by ACTI Communication, Collaboration, and Mobility Working Group co-chair Jim Jokl (University of Virginia) with contributions from the ACTI-CCM working group gives the basics of what you need to know about DAS systems to support in-building cellular coverage on higher education campuses. It describes what DAS is, highlights non-DAS alternatives, and provides useful advice to campuses looking to buy and fund a DAS solution.
