I have a question for other schools using Google Apps.  Specifically, do you sync staff directory information to Google Contacts (e.g. phone, email, job title, campus location).  If you do, have you also enabled Google+?

I ask this question because enabling Google+ in our scenario (where all directory information is sync'ed to Google Contacts) effectively publishes (as far as we can tell) the entire directory for the world to see.  That is, unless users dig through their security settings and remove these fields from public view.

If anyone else has tackled this, I'd love to discuss how you did it and how it went.
