IT Organization Structure for the Future
Can anyone recommend a consultant that can perform an IT organizational assessment and recommend a forward looking IT Department structure, given all the recent changes in the IT landscape? I have an opportunity to restructure the Information Systems team as the job becomes data interfacing between cloud-hosted systems instead of installing system software and upgrades; and to address the new normal for Academic and Research Computing staffing as we address “Big Data” as a major and discipline and receive large private protected data sets from government granting agencies.
