Director of Finance and Business Services, for the 

Vice President for Information Technology at the University of Georgia

The Vice President for Information Technology (VPIT) at the University of Georgia (UGA) invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Finance and Business Services. This position is responsible for leading, developing, supporting, and facilitating the budget, financial, and human resource functions for units reporting to the VPIT, including Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS).

A variety of organizations that focusing on the development, support, and effective use of Information Technology at the University of Georgia currently report to the VPIT. This includes units focusing on student and administrative information systems, infrastructure and identity management information systems, telephony and communications, HPC and research services, networking and communications services, data center services, information security, and internal functions for planning, communications, and project management. Combined, these units are supported by approximately $28 million in state funding, student technology fee funding, and cost recovery revenues, and approximately 240 employees. The Director for Finance and Business Services will be responsible for the business, finance, and HR services necessary to support this division.
