Good Morning:

Wondering if anyone has developed an AUP for mobile devices at your college?  We are having more and more employees setting up their mobile device for email and my main concern is confidentiality of those emails, or other data, if the device would get lost or stolen.  We can set things up to require a password, but I think employees would rebel against that option.  If you’ve gone down this road or are currently working on it could you share what you’ve come up with?

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim,

If you go to the EDUCAUSE Mobile Computing page, http://www.educause.edu/Resources/Browse/Mobile%20Computing/30529

And click on the policies tab, you will find a handful of schools policies.

Please let me know if you have any questions, thank you.
