Colleagues:

The EDUCAUSE Awards Program brings peer endorsement and distinction to professional accomplishments in higher education IT. The Leadership Award, the highest recognition for individual achievement, is awarded annually to the “summa cum laudes” whose work has had a significant and positive impact on advancing the theory and practice of information technology in higher education. The Rising Star Award is awarded annually to recognize an up-and-coming leader in the higher education IT community.

The year’s end is often a time for reflection. Recognize excellence in our community by submitting a 2012 award nomination. Nominations are due by February 13, 2012. Find more information about the EDUCAUSE Awards Program and the online nomination forms athttp://www.educause.edu/awards.

Please let me know if I can answer questions regarding these awards or the nominations process.

Best,

Timothy M. Chester
