Pace layering efforts
We are reviewing Gartner group’s pace-layering application strategy. Pace-layering is a Gartner Group concept that acknowledges that things need to change at different paces and that our applications, architectures, integrations and infrastructures should be designed to allow them to in concert with a governance structure that fosters appropriate change controls for innovation, differentiation and systems of record. It is a means to establish a business application strategy that is more responsive to the organizations need and delivers a better ROI, without sacrificing integration, integrity, and/or governance.
Can you please share with me any knowledge, thoughts and experiences you have related to efforts such as this?
Thanks in advance,
