Registration is open for the summer LeadershipProgram and we have a few spaces still open.

This highly interactive program (July 9-13 in Boston)  is designed for new CIOs and senior IT leaders aspiring to CIO or other executive positions in campus IT organizations.  Led by experienced CIOs and senior administrators in higher education, it offers participants a unique opportunity to connect with peers, as well as leaders in the profession, and to further develop their leadership skills in the context of higher education.  Participants will learn strategies to promote and lead change, nurture organizational development, encourage innovation, and much more.  They will examine the realities of higher education leadership and the characteristics of IT leaders, working in teams to address strategic issues associated with information technology on campus and throughout higher education.

If you are interested, or if you want to encourage professional development for someone on your senior staff, click and register now.  No free toasters or water bottles, but we promise everyone an intense, engaging time for 5 days!

I would like you to send you to this but I am careful to not "force" you into a career path you do not desire.  We can discuss this next week but I think you would learn a lot by attending (and, just between us, you are the only person in our department I would send).

My apologies for the earlier posting to the CIO list.  It was intended for an internal audience.
