Mark,

We have been satisfied customers of Print Manager Plus for over 10 years, having synchronized enrollment activity with print quota allotment each semester.

However, we are in our second year of iPad deployment and are making a change to PaperCut in order to accept iDevices into the fold.  For a reasonable additional sum, we will also deploy their eCommerce feature so that students can add to their quota 24/7.

We use PaperCut. Students love the web printing functionality and we plan on rolling out AirPrint to selected campus printers this summer. We use print release stations and beginning on July 1, we will be using the TouchNet integration to allow for self-service print quota increases. Each student gets $50 per year as part of their tuition. Printing is $0.05/sheet for BW and $0.15/sheet for color. The public printing cost for guests/library patrons is double the student rate.

We are extremely happy with the product. We came from GoPrint about 3 years ago.

At HBU we have been using Software Shelf's Print Manager Plus for 7-10 years, before we really even started student charges. We began using it for student charges about 4 years ago and it has worked well, and integrates with our active directory. Students can add credit 24x7 with a credit card or Paypal account.  Cash buyers must visit the Cashier's Office and have a $20 minimum.
