Good afternoon,

After having been inspired at several sessions at EDUCAUSE, and specifically a session given by Susan Malisch from Loyola at a vendor symposium I am committed to providing better transparency both within IT and with the general university community. Our IT governance model is by design very flat, and I would like to change that, but it will be a process. So, my goal is to start with a better way to track projects, obtain university sponsors for projects and provide information to all parties. So to that end I am looking for recommendations on project tracking software that others are using. I would prefer a hosted application, but mostly I want to look at applications that are easy to set up and easy to use at all levels of interaction.

So please, let me know what you are using, and if you are happy with it.  I have looked at several, and all seem to meet my basic requirements, but your recommendations would carry a lot of weight.

Thank you.

Hi Shari,

There was a very recent post on this with several responses. If you search for “Tracking Projects” in the archives you will find it. The posts are from September, so very relevant.
