Colleagues: We just submitted our data for the Campus Computing Survey today, and I wanted to ask everyone who hasn’t completed this year’s survey to please participate! Two years ago my campus undertook a comprehensive external review of all operations, and the external consultants reported that IT had very detailed benchmarking data, mainly because we participate in the Campus Computing Survey and the EDUCAUSE Core Data Survey.  As we conducted our external review we found the two surveys complementary, and together they provided a very complete picture of how my institution compared to various benchmarking groups.  I encourage you all to take part in these important initiatives. I know the deadline for the Campus Computing Survey is fast approaching, so please provide your data soon!

Best regards,
