very operational question...

Wondering whether anyone has access to any standards regarding the number of servers administered per system administrator?

Thanks,

Hi Max,

Thanks for your note.  On Wednesday we will send you a new email invitation for the survey.  The survey email invite includes a hotlink to the online questionnaire for Boise State.

In the interim, attached please find a review (PDF) copy of the 2011 survey.

My thanks for your continuing support for the work of The Campus Computing Project.

Casey

Hi Casey,
I seemed to have "misplaced" the email invite survey.    Can you send me another one please?

Thanks,
Max

Our Infrastructure Group has two sys admins, one sys programmer and one network admin. But we cross train them all. We manage over 100 servers. 95% of the servers are in VM. Hardware, network, some VoIP, and server OS. They do have some application responsibilities but I'm trying to move that out.
