Smart Board (Interactive Whiteboard) Evaluations
Greetings! We are preparing to upgrade about 15-20 smart classrooms that are equipped with Smart Technologies Smartboards. These rooms are about 6 years old and as we consider competitors to Smart Technologies, I was wondering if anyone had done a recent evaluation of interactive whiteboard providers. Please let me know.
Thanks
Curtis

Hi Curtis,
I am interested in this information as well for annotation capture. Currently we are looking at a product called eBeam http://www.luidia.com/ .

Hi Curtis,
We haven’t performed an evaluation of all the providers or solutions out there however, we did evaluate one of Epson’s products when looking at some new projectors. Their Brightlink 455Wi is an interesting product with a reasonable price point (bassed on Brighter Futures educational pricing) which may or may not work for you depending on your needs. At the very least it may be worth a look. Hope that helps!
Regards,
Manny
