MCW is looking to begin a formal technology planning activity specifically focused on student administration systems.  We are evaluating outside resources to assist with the strategic facilitation and technical architecture responsibilities of this effort.  Please respond if you have references for firms or individuals with these types of skillsets in the area of Higher Education.

We've been regular customers of Cedar Crestone as well, and have been very satisfied.  We also just had an IT assessment performed by BerryDunn and we were pleased with their deliverable.  I'm not sure if they do the sort of planning you're looking for, but they might.  If you want contact info for both, please email me "offline".

At SCCC we received our best response to our SIS RFP from Cedar Crestone.  We were very impressed with their professional services people and especially their approach to managing the business process redesign and project management.

We recently completed an 18 month migration to Datatel with the help of Moran Technology Consulting, www.morantechnology.com.  They also helped with a IT assessment that we are currently implementing; Moran has a talented team and a great deal of experience in higher education.  Highly recommended.
