Colleagues,

  We (Technology Services) recently took over the Testing Center at Columbia College. All scheduling and payments are done manually.  I’m wondering if anyone is using an online scheduling software that they would recommend.  We would like to enter times and dates available for a multitude of tests and allow the students to schedule their test online. We have an online payment solution (TouchNet Market Place), and are looking for applications that incorporate payment and scheduling.

We are planning to purchase a new universal resource calendaring system. One of the requirements of the system is the ability to charge. Most of these systems has the ability to link with a gateway. TouchNet has a credit card gateway. Sent from my iPhone

Our Tutoring Center is implementing a program called Tutortrac from Redrock Software (www.tutortrac.com).  I think it may do almost all of things you describe.  It is very affordable and available as a hosted solution.  I don't believe they can handle payments, but very likely can interface with a payment gateway.
