IT Communicators, For the November annual conference in Denver, I am looking for an IT Communicator from a large public university or community college in the mid-west or west coast to balance other myself and other colleagues for a conference proposal using a flexible learning space. This is NOT presenting to a classroom-style audience using slides. It is more like refereeing multiple small group discussions on best student communication strategies then blending them into a large group discussion within the same space. You only need experience in student communications and/or events. If you are intrigued, contact me. Hi Carlyn I would be interested in participating. At UW-Milwaukee, we have a comprehensive communications strategy for incoming freshmen and continue to refine and improve our ongoing communications for all students. The key for me is developing a collaborative relationship with those units on campus who have on-going contact with students. Please contact me if you feel I'd be a good fit. Thanks, Wendy PS - I'm new to this group and look forward to learning about how other IT communicators are meeting the challenges of communicating technology resources and services to faculty, staff and students.
